Buck - Often used in reference to rough frame opening members. Door bucks used in reference to metal door frame. See Window Bucks
Curb stop - Normally a cast iron pipe with a lid (@ 5" in diameter) that is placed vertically into the ground, situated near the water tap in the yard, and where a water cut -off valve to the home is located (underground). A long pole with a special end is inserted into the curb stop to turn off/on the water.
Curb - The short elevation of an exterior wall above the deck of a roof. Normally a 2 by 6 box (on the roof) on which a skylight is attached.
Face nail - To install nails into the vertical face of a bearing header or beam.
Interior finish - Any coverings that cover the interior walls of a house. Examples are drywall, paneling, etc.
Parting stop or strip - A small wood piece used in the side and head jambs of double hung windows to separate the upper sash from the lower sash.
Plumb bob - A lead weight attached to a string. It is the tool used in determining plumb.
Sheetrock - A type of wall and ceiling finish made from ground gypsum covered with a paper finish. Common sizes are 4'x8', 4'x12'. Most commonly used as a wall finish that is then painted or wallpapered. Also, drywall, gypsum wall board.
Switch - A device that completes or disconnects an electrical circuit.
Tongue and groove - A style of lumber in which the pieces interlock to form a strong solid formation.
Turnkey - A term used when the subcontractor provides all materials (and labor) for a job.

I's completely satisfactory and it easily and securely clips in and out of the quick-change chuck on the drill/driver. You can use the included chuck if you want to use these same bits to make changing bit sizes faster in a drill that has a normal Jacobs chuck. (I suppose you could also use the chuck and bits in a drill press.) The chuck will also take screwdriver bits as well as combination drill bit & countersink for # 6, #8, etc. wood screws if the bits ...more

I've been using this drill set regularly for about 3 years, and have broken only one bit (the smallest and most fragile one, of course). I use hex-drive bit holders, and am amazed how quickly I can switch bits and get on with the work. The biggest advantages for me are: No hassling with a chuck key, and no bits slipping in the chuck. I use them mostly for wood, plastic, and aluminum, but switch to non-hex titanium-coated bits for drilling through hard steel. ...more
